چکیده

Sub–Nyquist sampling is a technique which has various applications in signal processing and communication technologies. Memory relaxation, peripherals operating at relatively lower speeds, consequently low–power consumption designs are prominent motivations sub–Nyquist receiver studies. Although these seem to be attractive, instability information loss major drawbacks of approaches comparison with Nyquist–Shannon applications. Nevertheless, sub-Nyquist receivers could still provide several ways recovering some extent case they fortified appropriate interpolation mechanisms. Hence, this study proposes fractionally asymmetric baseband design for phase modulation (PM) reception. The proposed method takes advantage statistical behaviors the received passing through physical propagation medium adopts an autoregressive process recover required. implemented on software-defined radio (SDR) platform near real–time tested real–world environment. Results discussions provided along future directions.

An Analog/Digital Baseband Processor Design of a UWB Channelized Receiver for Transmitted Reference Signals

The frequency channelized receiver enables the use of practical analog-to-digital converters (ADC) to digitize ultra-wideband (UWB) signals. The design issues of the analog and digital baseband processor for the channelized receiver in a UWB transmitted reference (TR) system are investigated. In the analog part, the receiver performance is shown to be weakly dependent on the analog filter bandw...

Design and Implementation of Reader Baseband Receiver Structure in a Passive RFID Environment

In this chapter, we present a demodulation structure suitable for a reader baseband receiver in a passive Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) environment. RFID refers to a technology which uses radio communications to contactlessly identify a tagged physical object [1-2]. An RFID system may include a plurality of electronic tags on objects, animals, and other things having unique identificati...

Design of AT - DMB Baseband Receiver SoC

© 2009 Joohyun Lee et al. 795 This paper presents the design of an advanced terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (AT-DMB) baseband receiver SoC. The AT-DMB baseband is incorporated into a hierarchical modulation scheme consisting of high priority (HP) and low priority (LP) stream decoders. The advantages of the hierarchical modulation scheme are backward compatibility and an enhanced dat...

detection of phase code modulated lpi radar signals using time-frequency distributions and comparing with roc of lpi radar receiver

nowadays, in the modern wars, radars have faced with many threats. therefore, low probability of interception (lpi) capability is considered as an important factor in military radars. on the other hand, research on the interception of their signals is started and so far several methods are presented for detection of these signals. by using of time-frequency techniques, we can estimate signal pa...
